Awesome. I will email raia and let her know, so that she can post here to give you advice or something. She is either in Israel or Italy at the moment (I didn't keep track of what was when) but will be back in the states around the fourth of july.

I'm jealous. I had the chance to go on Birthright last winter and fell in love with the country. I've been pining to return since the second I got back on American soil.

Umm...question. What is the best way for me to stay in contact with my family while I'm there? My cell phone provider told me that it would be best to find a pay as you go phone once I get there. What do you guys think? Does this sound good or is there a better/cheaper way to do it?

Get a cell phone that works there before you go. There are LOTS of deals, especially around here.
However: cell phone calls between Israel and the U.S. are expensive. (Incoming calls are free on most Israeli cell plans, but the cost from here ain't so much better.)
If you will have computer and web access while you are there (and there are a growing number of locations in Yerushalayim that have free wifi, starting with the food court at the Central Bus Station), I recommend using Skype. I was actually talking to my parents using Skype just a few minutes ago -- they're in Israel for the summer.
