A Korean magazine apparently got a hold of a good amount of information that was supposed to be revealed at BlizzCon. Naturally, they immediately splurged it across the net.
Any thoughts on the new, up-close renderings of the Terrans? I think I counted about six different cannons on the Thor alone. The Banshee looks incredible, and sounds like a combination of the Valkyrie and the Wraith.

You know, with the bulbous weirdness of the protoss, I'm worried that they might acquire Eldar Syndrome and become the next space elves.
Eldar syndrome is essentially the kind of problem you get when you've got a bunch of very specialist units which can only be used right one way and wrong a billion other ways and it leaves you with a dramatic inflexibility. It's common with all the elf-ish races in these sorts of games.

Can you propose a way for them to not become "space elves"? From everything you and Tom have said, their essential backstory and design all point towards an inevitable transformation into the cliched Eldar.
If you don't like the direction Dustin Browder and Blizzard are taking the Protoss, the development team istaking suggestions.

Well, considering Eldar means Elf the jump isn't that big. And since the Elves/Eldar are the oldest and coolest race I'm all for it!
But I'm not for the uber specialization... I always loved playing the Protoss since they have fewer units but those units are three times as powerful as others. Gives you a little breathing room from too much multi-tasking.
