Those who were able to preview the long awaited Season Two boxed set for The Muppet Show have announced that -all- the songs, skits, and bit are intact. The wait seems to have been worth it, they cleared the rights for everything.

*whew*

Now, just have to wait until August 7th. [Smile]

Was season 1 chopped up?

I thought about this a couple of weeks ago. My kids do not know the muppets and they were always a favorite of mine.

brojack, season 1 had musical bits taken out because they didn't want to pay the royalties for the songs in them.

Also, the bits leading up to and punctuating the songs were deleted.

This right butchered the Vincent Price episode...the closing number and jokes are gone.
