Constantly seeing stuff on the Internet that's interesting enough to wanna share, yet doesn't fit under any topic heading, and probably won't generate alotta responses. Thus this Odd Items from the Web thread. Starting with Perhaps it woulda been better to build the underground parking area before erecting the rest of the highrise.

Awwwww. I love how that one is head-butting her asking for something to eat. I bet feeding that crowd is pretty expensive. I wonder how she takes them to the vet or gives them medicine.

I just found Evil Mad Scientist Laboratories tonight. They have a wide variety of projects. You can make fractal snowflake cupcakes, bristlebots, and (my fav) a Missle Command circle skirt. The projects range from fairly simple to complex, but it looks like a fun site.

Heh. Neat...I remember that YouTube video from many months ago and I'd forgotten about it until I started watching. Thanks for the refresher.

Ah, okay, this was near the Homewood Campus. Hopkins is known around here for buying up blocks of sketchy neighborhoods and renovating in an attempt to make the area better. At least, that's what they tend to do around the down-downtown Hopkins, which is closer to the heart of the city sort of on the East side. Anyway...

That eagle owl scares the heck out of me. Its orange eyes look so malevolent about 11 or so seconds in. Yikes! Keep it away....
