My parents are throwing a diso party in a month. So I have about 4 weeks to find a great disco outfit. I've been online and seen the generic travolta costumes out there but want to go a little more authentic. Anyone have any ideas of where to find good polyester shirts, bellbottoms and platform shoes?

You could probably find a lot of that kind of stuff on Ebay, or possibly if you found like a collectors website.

salvation army would probably be lacking in those things, unless you get really really lucky.

ebay. vintage clothing stores. or vintage clothing websites. I remember finding a really good website for platform shoes a while back but I don't have it bookmarked or anything. just search for "platform shoes" or "vintage 70s clothing" or something like that.

Polyester pants, but don't light a lose thread from the zipper on fire.

Our local thrift store has plenty of stuff like that. Not Salvation Army or Goodwill, though, the other thrift store. And the vintage clothing store has even more.
