I just got cast in my school's production of Puccini's Suor Angelica! I am Sister Geneveve! [Smile]

I'm SO happy! I was a mess the day of my audition for personal reasons, and was really afraid that my audition suffered... I really needed this self-esteem boost! I just had to share with everyone!

Which role?

I played percussion in the orchestra for our college's production of "Suor Angelica". We also did "Gianni Schicci" or however you spell it, on the same program.

Sister Geneveve... and we're doing Schicchi as well! The two are commonly done together, as they come from the same set, Il trittico... the third, however, is rarely done, as it is depressing and not as fun or well known.

Unfortunately, no... we perform all our operas in English. [Frown]

Sarah, it's in early February... the operas are a winter term project this year.

Congratulations! I'm sure you'll have a great time playing the part. [Smile]
