Ok, here's my problem. Whenever I read about psychoactive drugs, it seems that they are always affecting the same 4 neurotransmiters. It's either serotonin, dopamine, GABA or epinephrine.
LSD? -- Serotonin. Amphetamine? Dopamine. Etc, etc.
But aren't there dozens of other neurotransmiters? We sometimes hear about glutamate, but why never those others?

Cuz mentioning items such as anandamide might give folks the idea that "pot is a natural high". And everyone knows that keeping unpatentable recreational drugs illegal to boost their sales value is MUCH more important than medical research.

I just wish I knew something more about neurotransmitters so I'd have something more to contribute than just laughing about what asp said. Which I found very amusing. Gives me something to do after I wake back up though, research neurotransmitters....word of the day.
