It started out with me almost dying, my car getting totaled.

I had a nervous breakdown.

The day proceeded only to go down from there.

I'm feeling pretty hopeless, angry, and worthless at the moment.

Anyone have some cheering news?

********************************************

Things are still sort of bleak, but I'm no longer in terminal doom mode.

Still lots of crud that's going wrong, but I'm daring to hope things will work out.

Thank you very much for your kind words. I really needed the boost.

Jeez! (((Puffy)))

Um... My daughter's in the process of losing her first baby tooth?

"The Graysons" was cancelled before it began?

The new trailer suggests Fox hasn't succeeded in killing "Watchmen" yet?...

I don't really have any great news... it's almost Thanksgiving? It's not even 10:00 and I've been done with my homework for an hour? Umm...

Yikes indeed!

The new Bond movie comes out tomorrow. Let Daniel Craig and an interchangeable hot Bond girl cheer you up with gagdets and chase scenes [Smile]

I'm glad you're relatively alright, considering how worse it could have been.

Your car being wrecked stinks, but you being spared is a wonderful thing. Thank G'd the harm was deflected from you and directed onto the car. This is the good news.

I am so glad to hear that you are OK and still with us. I know it is stressful, and I wouldn't want to be in your situation right now, but that you are alive and well enough to be here complaining makes me happy.

Did your airbag deploy? I've never had an airbag deploy for me. What is that like? Did the puffiness of the airbag meet the puffiness of your treat to make an extra puffy scene?

(((puffy))) (((treat)))

(You are so puffy, I couldn't get my parentheses around the whole you, so I had to parenth your different parts separately.

I'm glad you're okay. Hope your insurance is quick with restitution (or the other guy's.)

I'm glad you're still with us, your being gone would be a big loss to Hatrack. (And where would I get my movie news???)

In good news, my four year old got an achievment certificate in dance class today for learning to shimmy sham (whatever that means! It's a tap thing, I guess...)

And the other day I got incredible deals on matching dresses for all 3 girls (2 sets!) I'm looking forward to seeing them all dressed alike, it's so cute it always makes me happy.

Sorry to hear a fellow Hatracker go through such a nasty experience. Been there myself.

The most uplifting new I can think of is: "The most important part of your car survived the crash, the driver".

Good news, and hopeful for our nation: I had a very positive, open, and friendly political discussion with a co-worker on the opposite end of the political spectrum.

You are now stronger and more appreciative for being alive, and your best days are ahead of you.

Success is measured by your ability to stand when you've been knocked into the dirt.

Oh, man. Puffy, you are easily one of my fav Hatrackers, you are so upbeat and positive yourself I hate to hear about you being down. [Frown]

Still, you are okay. A car is a car. You, however, are irreplaceable. I'm glad you're okay.

Things will get better - it is a new day, just like AvidReader said.

If I could, I would send you baked goods. Specifically, banana bread. The world can't be all bad if there's warm baked goods around.
