Sorry if this has already been posted, but I think this is incredible! Imagine if they can successfully repeat it, we may be able to rid peoples bodies of HIV.
A Doctor in the article does say that it is unlikely to work for everybody as there is a 1 in 3 chance of death from an infection during the operation, but I still think it paves the way for procedures to come. That is if they choose to continue looking forward on this. Who knows where they will be in a few years.
