I am only really concerned about what happens to minorities, otherwise it looks good in theory.

This is some good discussion- got a whole lot of you heated.

Glen, I didn't realize how strong Hatrack's population of Atheists and Agnostics was, not that it would've changed my opinions- possibly my delivery, but thank you for the information.

Just to let you know, I don't think those who believe in God are waiting for some divine hand to come down and take care of all our problems for us. I also don't believe "my" God wiped out all humanity but a relatively small group because he just wanted to. I don't presume to understand God's motives, but I'm certain he is a God of mercy and would never do that without an absolute need.

If I didn't address anyone's issue with me, please let me know. I don't have lots of time right now, but will have more later and can get back to you. Thanks for the discussion everyone!
