No, but I didn't think I had any use for Gmail when I signed up for that, either. So I'm open to being surprised.

It would have been handy a couple of weeks ago for my daughter - she and her friend were collaborating on a homework assignment by chatting on Facebook.

You didn't have any use for an email account?
Rather the contrary; I already had several. I didn't see why I'd specifically want Google to manage my mail.

It has been fun to play with. I got it, and then got my girlfriend to sign up. Lol, though she really doesn't see the point. She just agreed to play around with it some to humor me.
