The first screenshot I saw of this thing, he'd opened a command window and typed "Where the hell is my start button?"

That's pretty cool. It's rather amazing how far computer interfaces have come in the mere 18 years since the release of Windows 3.1

Then again, it also demonstrates the clear superiority in GUI that the Mac OS had back in 1992 with system 7.0. Too bad it took them until 1997 to come up with the next arguably significant upgrade (System 8). Resting on laurels, much?

Why do people spend hours and hours editing Wikipedia articles? Why do people spend half the time they do making things on the internet that elicit an "he's clearly got too much time on his hands"?
