My wife is Japanese and I am Caucasian. There is no box that would indicate a mixed race. How should I identify my children? Thoughts?

My mind was thinking of some other country/region that wasn't represented, but I can now totally see how that would be appropriate. Thanks!

On the race question, it says mark one or more boxes. So, for my husband and daughter, we marked both Caucasian and Chinese.

I got the same form, but my wife asked me to fill out the complete census.
Scholarette, I did fail that multiple choice question test in high school that had in its' instructions to only fill in your name and period. Anyone who actually did the test failed because it was a test on how well you followed directions. I really need to read more carefully.

Heck, mark Japanese so perhaps your kids can take advantage of a non-white status, and a job easier when they apply for work someday.

How exactly will they have an easier time getting hired for a job by a parent filling in Japanese on a Census form?

Prospective employers wouldn't have any access to census data so I'm not sure how that would make a difference.
