My vote put you back up to a tie, but I only have the one.
EDIT: Also, I am jealous of these giant spacious kitchens. The house I am renting at the moment has a little tiny space that serves as a kitchen and there are four adults in the house.

I found yesterday that on my iPad 3g each time I disconnect and reconnect to the 3g network, I get a new IP address, and new vote.

Rivka, I sadly don't live in an area with data service, only when I'm traveling out of town do I get to use it, and I"m back home now.
Rawrain, it looks like you, or someone else using your IP has already voted from your IP. Thanks for trying.

Ahead by 50! And that weird thing my modem was doing last night must have reset its IP address -- voted again.

Well we are competing well, but having a hard time staying ahead. The contest continues until midnight central time on new years eve.
If you have a data plan on your phone, all you need to do to get a new ip address is toggle (turn on then off) airplane mode.

Yesterday we were stuck tied at 1986, they had bug in their website.
<geek> Each vote is kept as a MD5 hashed IP address in an array, imploded with a comma, and recorded in a mysql TEXT field, max length of 65,535 chars. 65,535/33=1986 </geek>

Might not be official until you sign an affadavit/release or something like we did, but congratulations! I wish I'd been more a part of the voting, but we were limited to the one vote. Still proud to be part of it, though. Major props to those who were both able and willing to exhibit patience and endurance to vote repeatedly.

I sorta feel like Zev got ripped off. Because the second place video had so many votes, rather than give $4K to Zev, they're giving $2,500 to first and second place.
I'm sure there's something in the fine print that allows them to make such a decision, but it seems kinda off. Might explain why it took so long to announce the winner(s), though.
But still, that's $2,500 that Zev and family didn't have before, and I'm glad they're getting it. Congrats to them, and thanks to Hatrack and others for the voting efforts.
