So The Guild. I don't have to say too much more about it, but Felicia Day pretty much owns. She's proven that an uber-low-budget web series can equal traditional tv.

Sandeep Parikh (Zaboo from The Guild) also did The Legend of Neil. It's probably on par with The Guild (though it's a little vulgar).

Add that to the awesomeness of RedLetterMedia (Plinkett Reviews, Half in the Bag), Doctor Horrible's Sing Along Blog, and some of the shorts at Funny or Die, and I'm convinced that you don't need money to succeed anymore.

Does anyone else have any great web content to steer me to? By the way, Sandeep just started a new superhero show, Save the Supers. It might be epic.

Retarded Policeman
Gorgeous Tiny Chicken Machine Show
Two Hot Girls in the Shower

And of course.
Legend of Niel

Legend of Neil is probably my favorite. It has some lines in it that make me laugh every time I hear them.

"What am I supposed to do with this wooden sword?" *pokes self*

"Hey, that crap is free! I painted it myself!"

Also, the musical episode is probably the best bit of online entertainment since Dr. Horrible.

I also came across a very dark, gritty Super Mario Brothers series at one point in which Mario was addicted to some sort of psychadelic mushroom. I watched a couple of episodes but was never able to find the website again. If anyone knows where I can find it I would appreciate it!

I think I'd agree that Neil is the best overall. But the last season of The Guild gives it a run for its money.

Ooh, I forgot about Agents of Cracked. It's really hit or miss, but there've been a few really good episodes. Husbands is also pretty good (if short), and the Grabowskis is probably the most awesomely bad show ever.

I'm thinking that Save the Supers might be better than Neil. We'll see, they're only two episodes in.

Yu-Gi-Oh! The Abridged Series.

It's pretty niche--it only works for people who watched the series, in all its random glory--but it's absolutely amazing.

I really enjoyed Battleground. Would never have heard of it if a friend of mine weren't one of the producers.

In that vein, Team Four Star's Dragon Ball Z Abridged is at least as entertaining as Yu-Gi-Oh! Abridged, and this comes from someone who never watched Dragon Ball Z.

I fail at my nerd cred, because try as I might I couldn't get into The Guild. The creepy stalker online boyfriend thing of the first season made it pretty much unwatchable for me.

And even though I never played Halo, I ended up really getting into the story of Red vs. Blue.

Dang...I thought the creepy stalker online boyfriend thing (Zaboo) was one of the best threads in the series.

Are you referring to There Will Be Brawl?

My favorite series are as follows:

Red Vs Blue (the first five or six seasons)
The Guild
Dr. Horrible (it was a web series/blog originally)
There Will Be Brawl
The Angry Video Game Nerd (he's making a movie now)

I used to browse for random shows to watch online, but these are the ones that stick out the most in my memory.

Also, for a good laugh, watch girl/girl scene.

I really like Cracked's After Hours, though it doesn't completely fit, as the thread appears to be more about shows with heavier narrative elements and that one is just self contained comedy sketches.

I'm a huge fan of DBZ:Abridged. The editing, writing, and voice acting is pretty much always spot on.

Is Yu-Gi-Oh Abridged actually on par with DBZ? Would it be enjoyable by someone that's never seen the original?

Yeah, Cracked's After Hours is really good. Lets count it if we're counting the Plinkett reviews. I just wish they'd done more episodes.
