I'm pretty sure that I'm surprised with some of the comments. Best Bond movie ever? Best Daniel Craig performance ever? Best Bond villain, on a level with Heath Ledger in The Dark Knight?

I'm not all that shocked by the praise at IGN. But some of the more notoriously tough critics (Emanuel Levy) are heaping it on as well.

Can't wait.

Is this movie still related to the revenge-for-vespa plot-line?

I wasn't intending to see this in theaters, but I may have to revise my plans.

Good. The last one was terrible.

The last one was made in the middle of a writer's lockout and didn't have a finished script when they started filming.

The last one was directed by someone whose never made an action movie. It couldn't hold a wine glass to Casino Royale, but the photography was hot and Craig had a pretty unforgettable performance.

But whatever. This one looks like money.

I just want a better looking leading lady. The Pierce Brosnan films had their faults, but not in that department.

Well, Gemma wasn't the leading lady, but she was great.

The IGN review made me very excited for this. I didn't expect such a strong endorsement, but apparently this movie is going to rock. It's been a while since I really wanted or cared to see a Bond movie, so here's hoping this one pays off.
