Hi. This is my 1st post here. I came because I just finished listening to Ender's Game on audiobook - unabridged and I well...I thought I just finished listening to it. I couldn't be more lost. First let me just mention that I do have TBI & it messes with my short term memory (which is why I've been doing this kind of buy a book AND get it on audio thing)
Listening to it and I'm....what??? LOL ok what happened was that it seemed to be wrapping up. It seemed to have ended, then suddenly there was an additional 1.5 hour to the audio. Some narration began - you could tell it was related material but with different things going on (sorry, its like I know things but I cant always remember enough detail to fully describe)they began referring to somebody as The Giant. I haven't turned it back on to listen to too much yet because I want to get my bearings.
Could somebody explain? I tried checking the site where I bought the audiobook but its only got a brief description & reviews. Thanks!

If it talked about a grown-up Ender flying a craft, with a kid and an egg, that is a teaser for another book in the Ender's Game series.

I bet you are referring to the end where Ender finds a version of the Giant that the buggers had left for him on a planet. It looks like the giant from the mind game he played in school. That's where he finds a bugger cocoon.
The buggers couldn't speak to his mind, so they made something he might recognize visually, thus a giant.

Ok thanks for the reply. Yes that sounds correct. It just seemed so out of place or to have come from nowhere suddenly. It kind of threw me off!! There were characters who just surfaced out of nowhere and....strange. Very strange.
