Why couldn't it have been about OSC Seventh son...I knew it wasn't but it had Jeff Bridges so i thought it would be good...I was wrong.

Having read the first four books in the series, I did not expect this to be a good movie. The books are repetitive and there is hardly any character development.
It is unusual for me to give up on a series, but there was not enough incentive for me to pick up the next book.

While I generally enjoy Jeff Bridges, his role in this movie was not enough to convince me to check it out.

In some ways I like Red Prophet more than Seventh Son but there are a lot of parts in Seventh Son that felt incredibly vivid and atmospheric as I was reading it. I'd love to see a movie, morso than any other OSC book.

Red Prophet was my favorite when I first read the series, though that's been a while and I have no idea what I'd think of them now.
