Can't find a Pokemon Go thread, but it seems like there should be one. So here it is: Pokemon Go thread!

The game bored be after like 2 weeks. It just doesn't make much sense. It would be much better if players could battle each other and actually fight the pokemon they come across, then catch them, like in the gameboy game.

Pokemon Go killed the battery on my phone so much that I would lose about 20%/mile, which was a shame, because I was training for a half and I could have hatched SO MANY EGGS.
I ended up getting a new phone, and did not install Pokemon Go.

Personally i'd like to be able to challenge individuals to duels, even if it were just a short list, like a friends list in the game, and to be able to trade or send items and pokemon with that list. Since both those features have been part of basically every version of pokemon i know of, especially the game boy and card versions, seems pretty natural.

Yeah, without battling or even trading, no to mention no special events or new content it just starts to lose you after awhile.

If it had battling and trading there would be no reason for the DS and Nintendo would need to accept being an app company.

I also think the transfer system should be different depending on what you send, like first form on candy, second form two candy, third form three candy.
And you should get stardust for transfers equal to the pokemon's CP.
Still though it is a pretty fun diversion while taking walks

True, i think if they did this, it would have remained as big of a phenomenon as it was at first, like it would be a game played all the time in groups

On my Android phone, I kept getting a warning that said "Pokemon Go has to close", but it wasn't open. I would get it every five minutes or so. I had to uninstall it. It was frustrating.

Great thread. I play Pokemon Go too. However, most of my friends here already quit because there are a lot of cheaters here in Panama. I don't know why in players here keep on cheating and using hacks. Actually they don't need to cheat just go to the beach and there's a lot of pokemon to catch. I can't blame them there are a lot of lazy players out there who don't want to walk for miles. I hope the publishers will do something to punish those cheaters. Regards, Gustavo Woltmann
