Has tentatively accepted Stone Musings #2 for publication in May/June (and possibly folding #1 in as well) if I would agree to working with them to revise it. I considered it for about 0.3 microseconds before I replied "Absolutely." I figured that I couldn't get into trouble on punctuation with a one-word sentence.

Okay, okay!

I'd like to thank all the little people whose paltry efforts must be acknowledged lest they be offended: the fairies, boggles and pixies were slightly helpful, the nymphs were... entertaining, and the hobbits were always hungry.

I thank you all and ask that you take turns basking in my radiance to let others have a chance to feel that heady thrill that comes from [almost] rubbing shoulders with greatness. And remember! 15 cents only goes so far! Autographs will cost you an arm and a leg. The basket is over there.

You may bow now.

The Michael

*is that better?*

I'm going to officially ignore that last post (while laughing privately). Congratulations! So was that the first market to which you submitted? Hasn't been all that long since you put it up for critiquing.

Yes, that was the first journal I submitted SM#2 to. They must be desperate. I had submitted #1 to Brevity, but it was rejected. Haven't revised #3 yet.

Since this is creative non-fiction (we used to call these personal essays) I had a hard time finding a target market for any of them.
