Lenny's eyes bugged out of his acne-scarred face. My meaty fists were clenched around his throat. Only moments before,I felt the crunch of his windpipe as it collapsed beneath my crushing grip.
Lenny had left me without an out,yeah Lenny my best friend since grade school. I released Lenny's throat. He'd stopped breathing. I felt his neck,no pulse. Now all I had left of Lenny were memories and a body I would have to get rid of...

Timelabs History Correction Division August 6th, 2418
“What're the parameters of this time stream, computer?”
“What you're seeing, Janis, is 1945 Germany. Every country in Europe west of Poland. In this stream, Germany honored the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact with the Soviet Union and developed nuclear weapons in 1944.
“The Jews?”
“They've been annihilated in Western Europe.”
Janis sat down hard in his chair. His ancestors barely escaped the Holocaust in his time stream. His alt wouldn't be born in this one.
That bastard's going down. “Insert me in Vienna, in 1909 while he's still painting postcards? I'll hit him then.”
