There are sales, and there are milestones. This one is a milestone for me because it's my first pro-rate sale.

"Catch a Fallen Star," which was my WotF semi-finalist story from Q2, will be in Digital Science Fiction's sixth anthology, publishing in April. That's a long wait, but I'm still over the moon about it.

Hmmm, How many Hatrackers have now been published there?


Seems like almost enough to have a whole issue of hatrackers.

Are you thinking Daily Science Fiction? Several Hatrackers have sold there, but alas not me.

Sorry to hijack this thread but I can't make heads or tails on whether Digital is accepting submissions or not.

According to Doutrope they are.

According to Digital's submission page they're not, but they allude that they will reopen Aug. 29th, but I'm not sure if I'm reading it correctly...

This same discussion came up on the WotF forum a few days ago. Probably what happened is they planned to reopen to submissions Aug. 29 but got backlogged.

I'd go with what's on the Digital website. But keep a close watch on it because their submission windows are short. The last one was only two or three weeks.
