I've self-pubbed my first short story. It's a gruesome one called Zombies of Clay - A Parody.
It's a twisted version of James Joyce's short story Clay. I've got it listed for free. You can get a copy on Smashwords at http://www.smashwords.com/books/view/136970 It will be available for 99 cents on Amazon, but it will soon be free there as well.
This follows Joyce's original words, but I've zombie-fied it as much as I can. It's in the zombie POV, so its rather casual with the body parts. The story is about ten pages long, so I've included the original for reference.

Zombified. Nice! Downloaded and will be reading it today.
Good work on publishing a story. I'm still not done with mine but I hope to put it up in the next two months.
