Just a thought, but, After reading several thoughts and messages I find it difficult to ascertain the age levels of the writers. I'm 46, I saw a 44, but there are a few that look like they are still in school. No problem with it but are there any oldersters out there chasing their dreams of writting?

Yep, that's me, an oldster. I am a 44 year old who dreams of writing fantastic Science Fiction. My biggest problem if juggling my day jobs, teaching first grade full time and computers to teachers part time. I really want to get to know others who may be in this situation.

Teresa, I opened a store in April (arts and crafts)as well as work Hospital Police at night so I know how it feels. Still When business is slow I think about what I have written and added or subtracted what was needed. I also found that when I get home late at night and the family is asleep. I cup of tea (red Zinger with honey)my pipe and my work helps me unwind and also gives me the time to "see" what I have written. (somehow I find myself becoming the charactors more easily during this time). Try it, who knows... Varn

I just turned (gasp!) 28. I am really feeling 30 creeping up on me, mostly because I still haven't finished college. It's okay, though, because I am doing other things that make me happy.

OK, I'm new to this (most of my talks with others are in chat rooms...or am I missing something Here...{as I look around the room to see if I did...}... How long has everyone been in this mad society of writers? Or at least at Hatrack?
