Here are two poems i wrote for my 10 week old son which I hope he'll get to read one day.
Hey little man
This is for you
From mother to son
There’s so much I’d do
You are my light
My life and love
You’re my path to follow
You’re my angel from above
You give me meaning
When I’m feeling blue
You help me make sense
Of something so new
I love you the most
More than anything
I’d live and I’d die
For my little king

To my little son
I write this for you
You are the one
My dream come true
So precious and sweet
I love you so
My heart you’ll keep
And never let go
My life is complete
You made it so
It would be hard to compete
You have to know
You’re in my soul
Forever you’ll stay
You play a big role
Each and every day
And one day when you’re grown
You’ll read this and say
My love for you is shown
In so many ways
I hope you like them - they are just the beginning of what will soon become a collection of poems written especially for my baby, which will one day be put in one book and given to him to keep and hopefully treasure.
