Got a rejection today--20 subs out there yet---anyway, this agent wrote a rather long rejection and then recommended another agent. OK I got that, but when I went to the guys (other agent's) web site he states clearly that he doesn't want to recive fiction. ????

So why did the first recommend I contact the second? From her letter she obviously knew what I sent her was fiction.

Shawn, write to the other agent and say the first agent recommended him, and then ask him if he is now considering fiction.

If he isn't, you're only out the postage, but if he has decided to start taking on fiction, you've got a chance to be in from the start.

I e-mailed the second agent yesterday afternoon----his site said he prefered e subs, so now it is a wait and see thing.

Shawn
