Is there a list of writing competitions somewhere?

If not can everyone list the ones they know of here and when they unusually are?

Thank you,

W.

There is also this one, though its not SFF specific:
http://www.freelancewriting.com/writing-contests.php

I believe some can also be found on duotrope. I know WoTF is listed there.

There's probably a Writer's Digest contest guidebook in the magazine section of a B&N or other bookstore. I think some of the publishers guides in the book section include contests.

Writer's Market has a list too, but you have to pay to join that one. Buy the book and get a year on their web site. They suppose to have a bunch of helps on the web site.

I don't hear about them as much as I used to.

I have the books and subscription to Writer's Market, and in my opinion Duotrope is much better, and free.
