With all the discussion on writing and what makes a writer, I recommend the following 2012 Oscar winner for short animated film. It captures the importance of books exquisitely and eloquently without (appropriately) a single spoken word: "The Fantastic Flying Books of Morris Lessmore" http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=Adzywe9xeIU Respectfully, Dr. Bob [ February 27, 2012, 12:43 PM: Message edited by: History ]

Personally, I'd say it nicely sums up the value of books and what it means to be a writer and reader throughout one's life. Respectfully, Dr. Bob

I've heard the film won an Oscar or was up for one.
