My wife and I bought this huge brick house for less than the cost of a good sized flat screen TV. It needs love, but we dig that. We also thought it would be fun to blog the rehab. We can't decide on a name. She wanted House Porn, but my job and our church might not appreciate that. I thought maybe Our New Story, but we're not adding on to this beast (3000 sq feet plus a 1400 sq ft attic and a basement). Any suggestions on names?

The Money Pit, 1986, and a remake in 2006 titled Are We Done Yet, are remakes of Mr, Blandings Builds His Dream House, 1948, screenplays, based on a novel of the latter's name, 1946.

The Money Pit sounds a bit...ominous. I don't want to jinx my dream home.

A Day With Miss Havisham (Dickinson anyone?)

At least thats what we referred to one of our upstairs bedrooms...hasn't been touched since the early 1800's.

But if all else fails, you can go with:

A Study in Sheetrock

Whatever you go with, let me know. I love fixit blogs!

I kinda like the Study in Sheetrock.

The money pit is too well known... cliche-ish.

If you could find something with brick in it though would be better.

You might want to come with some overall name, and save some of these suggestions to title the individual blog pieces...
