It's that time of the week again, time for the kick in the pants. The idea is that having somewhere to report progress will spur you on to make some. So I'm posing the question to all of us here. Did you write this week? As we have been reminded in the past, writing for the purposes of this thread can mean just about anything you want. You did some editing? Report it here. Outlining, pre-writing or any other kind of prep work? Sure, that counts too. And, of course, writing new work always counts.

A very slow week for me, as I'm in the throes of packing and moving, which seems to have thrown me off for writing. I did start another short story, and had a couple more story ideas though, so it wasn't a total loss.

That's it for me. How about you? Did you write?

Nothing. But the repiping is halfway done...the repipers were here yesterday...the inspector and the plasterers are supposed to be here this morning...and once I do a certain amount of unpacking what I packed up, I'll have leisure time and be able to get back to my novel. I hope.

Yes. I wrote some monologues from my antagonist and mentor/hero to get a better sense of their internal conflicts. They are brothers, so there is also some history there that must come out.

I removed a thousand words from one of my stories in progress. I have another thousand before I am within publication limits. Then I send it to my writing partner.

My writing partner got a book published in the universe we created.

My first story in the same universe will come out first quarter next year (she had to re-write it while I was in the hospital last year or it would have been first in the series). My second story in the universe is what I am trying to cut down right now
A listing of other works by her.
