Well, William, I assume you're still busy with your programming project, so I'll start.

Here is a list of things that you can do each week as we work on our novels (suggestions welcomed).

As for me:
Last Week's Goals:
MAGIC'S FOOL: Keep thinking about what changes I need to make to improve this story. Still thinking.
FIRE AND EARTH (formerly known as SEVEN STARS): Send three more queries out this week. Yes.
BLOOD WILL TELL: Okay, now the trailer is finished, figure out some other form of marketing. Uh, no. *Hangs head.*
BLOOD IS THICKER: Let it rest. Easy one.
MAGIC'S APPRENTICE: Mark up critique revisions for chapters 4 - 6. Done.
THE BARD'S GIFT: Write through Chapter 17. Yes and half-way through Chapter 18.
MAGE STORM: Experiment with chapter 1 in first person. Nope again.

If anyone has been around here for a long time, you might remember me. I was quite active at hatrack a few years back (it's been maybe 5 years or so). I've been on a brief writing hiatus which turned into a longer-than-planned writing hiatus due to life getting in the way. I have decided it's time to jump back into writing seriously, so here I am.
I've got a completed novel, The Meat Factory, that I've been sitting on since before my hiatus. I blew the dust off it, polished it up, realized it was actually a YA novel, which is not what I had planned to write, and now have queries out to a dozen or so agents about that one. Already got two rejections on it. Two steps closer to publishing, I suppose.
Got rolling on a brand new novel this week. Working title "Soul of the Machine." It's sort of a mind-bending (I hope), twisted cyberpunk love story. But don't let "love story" make you think it's a romance novel. This is a pretty screwed up dude, and his love story would be heart-warming or titillating to nobody, guaranteed.
Goal for the week: Work on writing new material at least 1/2 hour every day.
@ Axe: I'm sure editing counts. That's well over 50% of writing a novel, so it has to count.

Writing's been pretty slow lately. Last week I edited about 2 scenes on Unborn, and wrote up a synopsis. I also got a big step closer to actually launching my website, which has been sitting on the back burner all summer.
My Null Prophet queries have been going well, averaging about 2/week, and I got my first full manuscript request.
This week's goals: edit 2 chapters of Unborn and send at least 1 Null Prophet query.
