I had read (or heard from the grapevine) that Corey Doctorow's 1st book, an SF novel entitled 'Down and Out in the Magic Kingdom', was published fully online before it was picked up by a dead-tree publisher. Does anyone have any input on this? I'm reading all I can on this question, and I can't seem to come to any definitive conclusion...I know he has his works all available online thru the CC license, but I just wanted to know if his first title appeared online before it was picked up by whatever publisher.
