AI, Artificially Enhanced Intelligence, Bionics, Robots, Cybernetics, Biometrics, Cyborgs, whatever you want to label the technology going into it, we are getting closer in all phases.
AI would imply the robot could voluntarily refuse to participate despite being ordered/programmed to do so. This is no closer to AI than a calculator or a slingshot.

yeah, I was commenting how there are many different aspects to a fully functioning AI robot and they are all progressing...reasoning, vision, touch...and here--walking, which has always been a big issue.
