I just noticed yesterday that my copy of "Ender's Game" jumps, and I wondered if one of you could look up to see what line/s are missed.

It's at the beginning of chapter 9, "Locke and Demosthenes", towards the end of the adults' narrative...

"Not just every day. Only when it's for the child's own good."

the most ruthless and unreliable human beings we've laid hands on. Why is he so important to Ender, after all this time?"

It's pages 132-133 in my copy if that's a help.

But he came a long way since then. I loved the way Peter turned out in SOTG. Especially his attitude toward Petra and Bean’s babies.
