This gent on these forums which I am about to link has seen ROTK and is answering everyone's favorite spoiler questions. His name's Marty. So, needless to say, this is a 56 page post of Tolkein dorks such as myself simply lining up to beg for info. If you don't want to hear everything that happens, don't click on this.

I didn't think it was possible for me to get any more excited about this movie. I was wrong.
I think it's funny that people are worried about spoilers. If you've read the book there really aren't going to be any spoilers. You'll just be so thrilled that it seems to be as good as we've all hoped!

Well, besides the fact that they apparently cut out every single one of my favorite scenes from the book, it should be okay.

Oh, I'm pretty certain I won't hate it. Jackson's a good filmmaker, and his art direction is wonderful -- and I enjoy war movies. I'm sure I'll be entertained.
I think it's a shame that the movie won't be any more than that, but I've always said that RotK would be the hardest to film without hacking it to pieces; Jackson obviously agreed.

they were riverfolk, so I guess "redneck hobbits" describes them pretty well. I'm insanely curious to find out what Smeagol's voice is like before he finds the ring. I mean, it can't be all gollum-sounding, can it?

SPOILER: I'm very upset about Frodo turning against Sam and sending him home. That just would not happen.
