http://www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/thread185534/pg#pid1896060

The crux of his arguement that Mormon faith is evil because it interfeares with Gods will (ie: humanities free will) and that supposedly Mormonism interferes with free will, however his arguement is based off his personal experience of having to pay a 100$ fine for smoking, a law that he claims but hasn't given any proof of being lobbied by Mormons, and that by his logic equates Mormons with slowly removing civil liberties.

This discussion begins about halfway through the thread, what do other people think?

Loony.

-ies.

In a nutshell, laws don't automatically remove free will.

Brainwashing may. Socialization can. Legislation does not.

With his logic all religion is evil, because all religion has some type of moral code limiting ones actions.

Even anarchy is evil, because it removes my ability to exercise my free will to limit yours.

Texas has an anit-smoking law as well. Austin will be delighted to know that the Mormons are behind that as well.

I'm pretty sure we could find a person to say you were evil too.

I hereby declare Breyer, Megan, and... oh, let's say Scott (for the Green Jello thing) evil. And maybe that smitty character too, people kindly avoid smoking around him, which of course infringes on their rights to smoke guilt-free. Oh, and Dagonee, because I never know how to pronounce his name, which interferes with my right to all easily-pronounced words.

Well, I'm working on taking over all the electricity, so maybe we should work together on this.

That damn Martha Stewart. I wish I'd known her skin was made out of rubber BEFORE I tried to electrocute her.

You don't feel menaced by frontloaders? You're either really, really stouthearted, or amazingly stupid.

Let me just add that neither of those attributes is especially useful when staring down a frontloader on a rampage.

Seriously.

well, they tend to be kinda... slow. And the drivers are relatively easy to pick off from long range. And they can't sneak up on you, at all.

Edit: You're narrow-minded. I could easily be both.
