I'm looking into flying out to Boston. Things I want to see: Boston Museum of Science & thier LOTR Exhibit. MIT Campus. Hatrackers
I know of several Hatrackers that would like to go at this point. The closing date of the exhibit is October 24th. Travelling seems to be pretty cheap right now via airlines *GEE I WONDER WHY *
I'll look into it; I would have done so earlier, but it was hectic with my brothers wedding (THE reason I didn't go to kamamammamamamamamammammammamaamama-com)

All we need to know is when raventh1 is flying out, or when JaneX has a break from studies, and then with our WonderDodecatuplets Powers(tm), we will activate the Tasty Gourmet Burger Outing, or the Western Mass. Shin-Dig.
I'm up for the burgers anytime; it's a 15 minute walk from my place ...Maybe I'll go tonight!

Hmmm. I'm not saying I couldn't be convinced. Would it be wrong to correct math papers while drinking beer?

Elizabeth, think of it this way: You'd fit in with all the Harvard math T.A.s and profs correcting much higher math assignments/problems than you

Maybe we could just split them up. A correcting party, as it were. I could bring a little bottle of perfume to sprinkle on the papers just in case we have spillage.
"Mrs. O'Brien, I have a red splotch on my paper, and it smells sort of like...salsa?"
"Yeah, and there's a squashed french fry stuck to mine."
I have decided I just won't give assignments. I have to correct 110 math fact sheets. (100 facts) It took me an hour to do one 25. Next time, it is going to be the old "Pass your paper to the person next to you, and we will correct these together" trick.

Ok, I am up for it if it is at all possible for JenniK and me to make it.
But I can't run it this time...another storm like that an I will just float into the distance....
It might be easier for JaneX to do it out here, but if she is up for the Boston thing JenniK and I could alway bring her...Smith isn't very far from where we live, maybe half an hour max....
I AM going to the LOTR in Boston, even if the rest doesn't work out.....so even if we do the WMASS shindig again (which I am in favor of anytime.... ) I would love to go with hatrackers, or even meet up for dinner with the bastages that have already gone...right Bok?

Wow. People are planning a get-together and specifically including my name in their plans and I didn't even know about it!
I would definitely be interested in coming - I've heard about the LOTR exhibit and I really want to see it. So does my friend and LOTR buddy, Hannah, who's also at college in this area...in fact, we were talking about going together. If there are Hatrackers involved, so much the better.

I might be able to do it in two weeks....on a Sunday, probably. It depends on what my work schedual looks like.
I always have Mondays off too, so we could do it on a Monday night, after you get out of class....and then meet up with Bok and Karen, and maybe Paul Goldner....hell, anyone else who can go as well....for dinner.
I talked to Myr today, and she wants to as well, is possible.

I can make the drive to Boston on weekends. Let me know when it's happening, and I'll let you know if I can do it.

As far as I know, two weeks from now would be okay. Hannah just IMed me saying, "I wanna come!!!!!!!!!" which I think suggests that she's interested, too.
Just let us know when the date is more definite...

I am much more likely to come if it's on a weekend as well, now that classes are going and all. I'm petitioning to not have it between sept 26-oct 3 as I have a conference to go to. But feel free to ignore that and have fun w/o me.

Well, let me see what Jenni's work schedual looks like too, as she has every other weekend off. Anyone have an idea on a date, just so I can figure it out?
Just as suggestions...are weekends better for most?

Hmm. I don't think I can go the weekend of the 25th-26th. But don't let that stop you, cause I'm not sure I can go any other time either. Stoopid full schedule.

I would really love to go; I've been wanting to see the LotR exhibit for a long time now... the best weekends for me would be Oct 2-3 or 16-17... but that's just my personal preference.

Three weeks from this weekend is the weekend of October 9-10, right? I'm not sure if that's a good weekend for me... it's my fall break, and my mom might be coming up here. Plus I might have midterms around that time. :/
