Hey Fallow, if I were escorting beautiful Annie and we were nominated for best Hatrack couple, what gender would you guess that I am?

Just as a helpful hint...

Space Opera and Narnia, I haven't forgotten y'all - I'm still thinking about your outfits.

Annie, dark blue is fine. Not a royal or even navy, though, but a very dark, deep blue that is almost black.

Hobbes, there's not much that could top your own pelt, but it really doesn't go with Annie's dress. You wouldn't want to detract from her allure, would you?

fallow, I would go with Yahoo for posting pics. Check out the directions I gave to Space Opera on the first page of this thread.

All right Mrs. M you know what I look like. Pick out a beautiful dress for me. My favorite color is blue.

I eagerly await!

Well, since I didn't win any awards, I don't know that I need to dress up for the event, but I would love Mrs. M's input anyway...

There are full-length photos of me Here and Here taken about a year ago.

You have to adjust for the fact that I'm very large busted, but I don't necessarily want to flaunt that at all. (plus I have a chest tattoo I may not want to show).

My favorite color to wear is forest green, or other solid or darker greens.

So what can you find that I can wish for?

Farmgirl

(maybe at KamaCon we should truly have a dress-up night, wouldn't that be fun?)

I am a tough one.

What can I do?

I'm the tall one.

Its my hair. Seriously. Male Patter Baldness has chosen the ugliest pattern to sit on my head. Bald in the back, and two sides, the front still has a unicorn horn of tuft growing.

Besides shaving it all off, any suggestions?

Does anyone know of any fashion websites where I can look for dresses?

I'd let Mrs. M, but I kinda want to see if I can find one myself...

Well, if I can't wear jeans and a T-shirt, I'll just be traditional and wear a black tux. But no tie!

Oooh! Oooh! Can I get dressed up to be a seat-filler? [Big Grin]

Canoein' photo and a beermakin' photo!

I like long dresses, mostly because I hate my legs. [Big Grin] And I always, always choose awful shoes, so I like to cover them up. I have blue eyes, and blue tends to work pretty well on me. But I don't really know what I'm doing, so hey. [Smile]

Mrs. M., you rock my world! I'm fond of dressing up for parties and things, but in most situations, I'm very natural and simple. I'm not afraid to wear things that require panache to pull off - for instance, I wear a wool cloak rather than a winter coat. I am very bad at doing my own hair, and it NEVER stays in hairdo thingies, not even if my hairdresser puts it up. I'm likely to get my shoes filthy, because I'll climb trees or walk by creeks even in my fancy clothes. I never wear sandals because I have issues with my ugly feet and hairy toes. I do, however, like to go bare-legged and without undies on occasion. I like to be able to run in whatever I'm wearing, be it short or long. I think my legs are pretty, even when I choose not to shave them. I have absolutely no cleavage, due to a protruding sternum, and I'm rather self-conscious about that. My chest is slightly smaller than my hips, and my waist is tiny. I am not quite an hourglass figure because of the small chest. I buy clothes for myself made of wool, thick cotton, flannel, and other soft fabrics. I dislike things that wrinkle, because I don't get along with my iron.

Is that enough to go on?

Oh yeah, pix...

Wow, leave for twenty-four hours and look what happens...

Mrs. M, I REALLY like that shade of pink. That with the embroidery was my idea of 'whimsy'. Maybe I used the wrong word.

*pulls out trusy black shrug* This should look nice with it.

What would you suggest for hair/makeup? My hair's a bit shorter than the pic, a little past shoulder-length, but I pull it back with minimal problems. If you link to beaded jewlery I can make noises like 'I can figure out how to replicate that!' [Big Grin]

Jenny, you HAVE to come! I'll be so sad if you don't!

Wow. Maybe I should go into business. Okay, let me take it one at a time.

Narnia, we would add wrist-length sleeves to this, which I think would be better anyway.

http://f1.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/kira_marx/detail?.dir=/80d1&.dnm=c1b2.jpg

Space Opera, what about this one?

http://f1.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/kira_marx/detail?.dir=/80d1&.dnm=28e0.jpg

Dan, I happen to find baldness very attractive. I had a serious crush on Anthony Edwards when he was on ER and I had a MAJOR crush on my Skepticism prof, who looked just like him but was much smarter. I recommend keeping your remaining hair quite short - about 1 inch long, especially in the back and on the sides. I think balding is a good look on you.

I'm still looking through the Spring and Fall RTW collections, but I do have some things in mind for everyone.

Eruve, check out www.style.com

Hobbes - I know I'll get into trouble again for this but I found these:

T his should accessorise with Annies blue dress

or you could go for top hat and tails

or just go with a nice tie

Do you believe people actually buy these things!

Hobbes, this in blue to match Annie's dress.

http://f1.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/kira_marx/detail?.dir=/80d1&.dnm=d64d.jpg

AJ, here you go.

http://f1.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/kira_marx/detail?.dir=/80d1&.dnm=3e1a.jpg

Space Opera, we can make the front panel a little more opaque or sew the top layer a bit.

FG, I only found one green dress and it wasn't you. I know you love green, but what about this one? I think it would be stunning on you (the model has your coloring).

http://f1.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/kira_marx/detail?.dir=/80d1&.dnm=11e2.jpg&.src=ph

Brinestone, if you're not sure, then it's not the dress for you. With dresses, it should be love at first site. I think the dress is pretty, but I'm not sure about the color on you.

Ayelar, I think this one would suit you. I love it - it's so pretty and fun and it would really make you glow. However, you will have to wear really beautiful high heels (dyed to match the dress).

http://f1.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/kira_marx/detail?.dir=/80d1&.dnm=a24a.jpg&.src=ph

fallow, I can see them and I'm glad to hear the goatee is gone. It makes a huge difference.

Jenny, I am having trouble finding exactly what I have in mind for you. I can tell you that it will definitely be black - black is your color.

breyerchic04, of course!

Edit b/c it's just easier.

Mmm. After a bit of poking, I discovered that they actually carry that line at Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, and Saks fifth. No clue what retail price is [Smile]

But you could always look at ebay! I'm a little tempted, too. [Wink]

I am about five foot. Medium brown slightly wavy (can be convinced to curl) hair that falls mid back. I am a curvy size 12, with a fairly large chest and hips, but a little waist, almost an hour-glass figure. I love purples and pinks. My eyes are dark brown. I would like to try a nice classic looking tea length dress but anything would work really. My prom dress is bright pink, long and fairly straight with a straight neckline (though a more heart shaped one would look better) and thin satin cord straps. It is beaded. That just gives you some ideas on what I already have. Thanks for the help Mrs. M.
