Depending on how much stuff people have, and willingness to sit on carpeted van floor, I can probably take the whole 1:30 bunch. (Van has one passenger seat, the rest carpeted)
Kat, I am sure we can work out something here that doesn't involve your hanging out at O'Hare till 1:30.
I live near O'Hare and am familiar with the pick-up area I mentioned in a previous post.

sndrake I can make trips too. I want to see more arrivals before we start doling out who goes where. I'm most worried so far about Marek at Midway.

I have no idea. But assuming I leave on Friday morning it will be early to mid afternoon. I may leave Thursday night and stop someplace on the way though.

Vehicles aren't that critical happy, I think we will already have more than enough there for the airport runs. It is just more as a point of information.
The flight times are the most critical. I'm thinking that for the departures I'll have a signup sheet for groups of people that want to leave for the airport together.
Driving. Mapquest sez it will take us 6 hours and 11 minutes, and I have proposed to Ryuko we leave relatively early. We will probably get there in the early afternoon. More detail as it becomes available.
Ryuko, did I mention my truck is not airconditioned? You will probably want to put your hair firmly up for the ride... unless you like it blowing around in your face, of course.

I will probably leave Detroit, driving to Chicago, around Thursday night.. maybe stay with family that night... but I should be at the hotel around noon on Friday.

I am taking public transportation. Tenatively planning on getting to the hotel around noon. However, that is flexible. If someone else was planning on taking public transportation from either airport, the bus depot, or the train station, I could happily meet them there and travel with them. The route I am taking will put me at Midway and pretty darn close to all major Downtown transportation centers.

Ooo, that would work, mack! And I've met both you and Theca, so we wouldn't have problems recognizing each other.

I'll be arriving in Indiana on Thursday before, and celia and myself will be driving up there Friday. Talk to her about times, since I don't know.

There's nothing unsafe about Midway; it's just not actually Midway to anything, and is actually quite out of the way from Skokie (which was at least partly selected due to its proximity to O'Hare.) So picking somebody up from Midway is in fact a major chore.
Personally, I would recommend that the people coming into Midway catch a train to Skokie; it's likely to be faster and not much more expensive, once you factor in gas over multiple trips.

I'm not really comfortable posting my cell on an open forum. Just tell me who I need to email it to and I will.

are you, now?
celia's schedule will likely be set the tuesday of that week, which is why blacwolve's name is also on the reservation. celia is taking on no responsibilities for giving people not named hot nathan rides. celia is debating whether or not hot nathan gets a ride. she can hear jebus telling her what giving someone a ride is slang for in ireland, but ignores him.
celia does have a bathingsuit and is bringing apples to apples. if xnera brings a ps2, celia will bring groove. xnera should email celia concerning this because she's very busy and should be doing about 10 things that aren't playing on line right now, but heard there was a thread she needed to post on.

xnera wonders how celia knew that she was planning on bringing her Playstation and DDR equipment, as xnera does not recall mentioning it to anyone. Alas, xnera only has a PSX, not a PS2. xnera will email celia and ask if this is sufficient.
edit: I just checked on Amazon.com, and Groove is indeed a PS2 game. Would any other console owners be willing to bring their PS2 for the weekend? Lime? Tom?

*sigh* If you e-mail me I will e-mail you back my cell phone number. I guess I could post it here but I feel a little wierd about that.
I'm making no promises about remembering cell phone numbers or trying to compile a list thereof. It is easier for everyone to remember ONE phone number, mine, than for me to remember everyone else's. I'm not deleting any e-mail but even if I do creat a KamaCon folder and toss it all there, there is no guarantee I'm going to find anyone's phone number. I'm sorry. I know my human limitations and this is one of them.
I have pretty much unlimited minutes so that shouldn't be an issue. If you choose to call me please identify yourself as a member of hatrack when I answer and leave message if you don't get me directly.

For anyone flying in, you can use my number as a secondary...I'm pretty damn close to having unlimited minutes as well. Satyagraha
