Note that the snow in Southern California was in the Sierra Mountains....and it snowed at the Rose Parade in Pasadena before.
Another intersting note is that the Farmer's Almanac (you know...the one started by Benjamin Franklin) says that we'll have weird weather this year because the sun is at its low cycle...and generally weird weather correlates with the sun's low cycles (low sunspots). Satyagraha

We had a big thuderstorm here in Northern Utah on Monday night. It was definitely cold. We had seven inches of new snow by morning.
