The swimsuit trick also works for guys with speedos when you're in a rush and need to be in a dive meet in like 2 minutes...
Regarding toilet paper my mom would put the toilet paper so it would go over the top toward the wall to prevent the cat spooling it all off if she got so inclined. When it became evident the cat was not likely to do this we reverted to normal. (over the top toward you)
