Issue 6 of IGMS is out now, and I have to say that I really loved the Ender story in this one, "Ender's Stocking". Peter has been one of my favorite characters since the Shadow books started coming out. I always enjoy reading from his point of view, and this story was no exception. (If you haven't read it yet, I'm going to be a little spoilery now!)

The bit on Peter's thoughts about the squirrel skinning provided great background for what I always regarded as a sinister scene in Ender's Game. The image of Peter and the third squirrel was great. I also loved the train of thought that led him to his great realization at the end of the story. His gifts to the family were touching but so twisted when you know his thought process.
All in all, I thought it was an engrossing story that had enough of the darkness of Peter's character to seem very true to both Ender's Game and the Shadow series. A big hand to OSC!

I agree pretty much totally with the above post. As I was reading I was just thinking, I need more. And the ending was wonderfully Peter. You see him grow by the end of the Shadow series, but at 14, Peter was still Peter, and you can pity him but you also have to loathe his inhumanity a little bit.

I loved this story. Definitely the best of all of Card's Ender stories. It was well written, longer than most of the IGMS stories, and told something that I really wanted to hear. It links perfectly Ender's Game with the Shadow Series. Being 14 myself, I find it rather inspiring, in a way...

I'm trying to remember something. In issue 5, originally the Ender story was going to be about Peter, but Gold Bug ended up taking its place. I think it's safe to assume this story was the same story issue five was going to contain, but what I'm trying to remember is what the original title of the story was. I remember it said that the title was disliked by OSC and would probably change.

How One Story Can Give Birth to Another, the accompanying essay in Issue 4. Evidently this story fleshes out something in AWoG. The Peter story was unnamed in the essay.

I'm pretty sure that's not the one I was thinking of. It was in Issue 5 of IGMS. On the contents list, before Gold Bug came out it said there was a story about Peter that was going to be released. Now that I think about it, maybe there was no title. Hmm.
