mack, be nice. I think English is his/her second language.
This is not like a chat room, with instant replies (common newbie mistake). This is a bulletin board where people ask questions and give responses. It is better to have references when stating factual responses, but perfectly fine to have an opinion. Just be sure to state that it is, indeed, your opinion.
Someone will no doubt post a link to one of the FAQ threads or Hatrackian Ten Commandments, but I'm simply too lazy to do it for you. I hope someone does it soon.
