I checked it out pooka. Definitely not enough sensationalism. Look how low the readership was! Only 45 posts in how many months? That rag needs a new editor! You need to spice it up with some gossip, like the Leto II/Kama affair, Primal Curve tells all; an In Depth Interview with Hatrack Celebrity Ralphie on life, stardom, cheerleading, how she deals with the new Severe Hotties, and why Slash doesn't post as much anymore; toss in a human interest byline by Chris Bridges; editorial opinions by TomDavidson; the Annie/Hobbes creature's overly optimistic and loveydovey thoughts for the day (like a Horrorscope); Icarus as investigative reporter; Jeffrey Getzin as movie reviewer(currently on sabbatical from Hatrack); and many more, I'm sure...

I don't blame Toni, but only because she mentioned me in this thread.

Unless you have a link to a kickin' rad jpg or macro, I'm afraid your "re-hijack" is suspect, at best.

I blame Eruve for trying to get in the way of a perfectly good hijacking.

It's really not a hijacking at this point. After three hijackings it's officially a runaway thread.

Edit: improper use of apostrophe. That'll be fifteen yards, and it's still third down. *blows whistle*

Thats me... being slow... and on the phones... it was directed to saxon back to the one with the 4 links

On a serious note, Annie and Hobbes are adorable in flirting because they interact with Hatrack in lots of ways that are meant for everybody (Cousin Hobbes threads, Christmas gift exchange).

I blame mack. Not sure why, just seems like the thing to do.

And then tell them that I am incredibly cool, and if they want to be cool too, they must be my groupies.

Be my groupies gosh darn it!

But don't kill me. And don't touch the jacket.

It's a hatrack legend.

It's The Infamous Brown Jacket of T (copyright Feb 2003). It's a thing of hatrack legend.

In otherwords, just a way for me to get involved in a conversation and to hijack threads.

I'll write it up later when I'm not at work, if you want me to.

Please do, Nathan.

kat, it's "sah-keh," (the e makes the same sound as in "egg") not "sah-kay." There's no "ay" sound in Japanese.

No, it isn't. The ei combination indicates a lengthening of the e sound, not a diphthong.

Wait a sec, how has the fact that JB and DD flirted in verse (in sonnets, for cryin' out loud!) NOT been more remarked upon? Y'all are just going to let that go?

saxon, are you asking for another tribute thread? Five was insufficient? Sheesh! Some people.

And knock it off with this "kicked to the curb" nonsense. Why, I'm sure I said something nice to you or about you this week!

Or was that last week?

Perfection is this song:

Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me.
We pillage, we plunder, we rifle, and loot,
Drink up, me 'earties, yo ho.
We kidnap and ravage and don't give a hoot,
Drink up me 'earties, yo ho.

Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me.
We extort, we pilfer, we filch, and sack,
Drink up, me 'earties, yo ho.
Maraud and embezzle, and even high-jack,
Drink up, me 'earties, yo ho.

Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me.
We kindle and char, inflame and ignite,
Drink up, me 'earties, yo ho.
We burn up the city, we're really a fright,
Drink up, me 'earties, yo ho.

We're rascals, scoundrels, villans, and knaves,
Drink up, me 'earties, yo ho.
We're devils and black sheep, really bad eggs,
Drink up, me 'earties, yo ho.

Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me.
We're beggars and blighters, ne'er-do-well cads,
Drink up, me 'earties, yo ho.
Aye, but we're loved by our mommies and dads,
Drink up, me 'earties, yo ho.

Dig it.
