I hate these. You know these, you're watching a moderately good movie, and then one of the characters says something that's so absolutely stupifying you wonder if they edited the script at all.
I think one that stands out in my memory is in Jurassic Park, where Richard Attenborough just gave a very passionate and emotional speech to Ellie Sadler, and she says, "John, I had respect for that power, too... But it's OUT now!" Which made the whole audience stop and go, "Wait, the electrical power? What the hell are we talking about here?"
Another good one is from Attack of the Clones, which I can't remember but will paraphrase here, "The sand is so coarse... Not fine, like you." I think I actually laughed out loud in the theater and said " Smooooooooooooth, when he said that.

Did anyone ever see "THE GLASS HOUSE"? IF you didn't, pat yourself on the back. It was SOOOOOOOOOOOO bad. Lee-lee Sobeski (no idea how to spell that), is an actress who has always looked older than she is, yet in this movie she plays a sixteen yearold. she is probably about 22 and looks about 27. my personal favorite part was when she stole a car and a police officer stopped her, and was very skeptical about her age. Book, before even opening this thread, I thought, yeah, what about that stupid line in Attack of the Clones where Anakin talks about sand. I roll my eyes *every* time I think of it.

Pirates of the Caribbean "My blood... The blood of a pirate." This one was horribly acted, but it also had script problems, too.

Sorry ladies, Orlando Bloom isn't that great of an actor. He did well in Lord of the Rings because he didn't have to talk much. "...A Diversion." thank you legolas for repeating what Aragorn just said

Aliens three...well, I think that was the line. I can't stomach re-watching any of the movie to get it precise, but I distinctly remember watching Alien3 and teh F-bomb was being dropped everywhere, then out of nowhere Siegorny's character edits her own swearing.

In the movie Mother Lode, Nick Mancuso's character goes off on a lengthy tirade, and when he finally shuts up, Kim Basinger says: "what do you mean?"
I fall out of my chair every time I hear that line.

I love the immortal and oft-repeated "I've got a bad feeling about this"! The Star Wars movies may have a lot of bad lines, but I quite like that one.

The only line that I routinely have fits of laughter over is in The Lion in Winter, where Prince John bursts out from behind the tapestries and shouts "You stink. You're a stinker and you stink!"
Unfortunately, that line completely ruined Excalibur for me. King Arthur was played by the same actor and I can't hear his voice without hearing,
"You stink. You're a stinker and you stink!"

Orlando Bloom's defnitely not that great of an actor. But y'know, I also don't think he's all that attractive...at least, not when he's not Legolas. He's too...bleh.

My main problem with Orlando Bloom is that he's so worried about how he looks when acting, that he forgets to include his voice in the acting as well.

As far as cheesy lines go, how about everything that came out of a character's mouth in all three Terminators? I adore those movies but, come on!

In “The Heist” the little chubby guy says, “My motherf***er is so cool, when he sleeps, sheep count him.”
Also, while the line is pretty normal, Val Kilmer takes the worst delivery prize with his scene from Top Gun, in the locker room when he says, “I’m sorry about Goose, (really long pause while he looks at the ceiling and breathes through his nose) we all liked him.”

Orlando is not the world's greatest actor, but I adored his character in PotC.
And folks, we can't blame the actors for really bad writing.
Then again, every Johnny Depp line was delivered with such....I don't know what, any other actor is going to pale beside him in that movie. Yeah, I admit it, I'm smitten for Cap'n Jack Sparrow.
I actually quite liked:
"You forget your place, Turner!"
"It's right here. Between you and Jack."
As for worst lines...
Y'all covered most of them. Legolas as MasteroftheObvious. Anakin Skywalker - those lines make my teeth hurt.
