I've read that all controversy aside, it's a pretty dumb movie.

They need the controversy to make anyone even care.

The gist is that it's a deliberate distortion of Mormonism by someone who knows how it actually is.

I desperately wanted to do a dobie and link to pictures of some happy Mormon couples at Hatrack, but I didn't want anything to be taken the wrong way.

Like "Gay Mormons, In Love" or something.
