I love my roommate. She's the best roommmate ever. She's nice and funny and sweet. Her wonderfulness is wonderfully illustrated by something that happened last night
She went to a rock concert. As soon as she got there, she noticed there was a lot of smoke, so she called me and asked me to get a trash bag, some shampoo and fresh clothes and put them by the door so that when she came home, she wouldn't even have to come in the room smelling of smoke, and could just go shower and change and tie up her smoky clothing in a bag so that I wouldn't have to deal with the smell at all.
She has never been to a smoky place before, so the smoke on the clothes is an entirely new thing for her-and she thought of all this without me saying a WORD, as soon as she realized it was a smoky place. Now that, my friends is a good roommate. And she's a great storyteller

I dunno. I think my roomate is cooler. The other day he was walking down some square or something in Vermont, and a Wino started talking to him, asking for some made up word.
"I don't have one of those." he said.
The wino then proceeded to ask for another made up item.
"I dont have that either."
"Well then how about a smile." The wino said.
So my friend smiled for the wino.
Now, you see, the Wino had this little makeshift drum, and my roomate was carrying his trumpet. They decided to jam. First my friend played his trumpet with the wino giving a beat, then they both played the Wino's drum.
Afterwards, the wino reached into this bag of stuff he had, and gave my roomate an old pocket knife.
That's one cool roomate, i must say, as well as a cool wino.

Yes, your roommate is sweet, but mine are furrier, and they purr, and they have cuter whiskers!

They do all have that flaw of being opaque. Is yours transparent? I would love to breed a transparent roommate.

No, she's opaque-but she doesn't get between me and my computer screen while I'm using it. AND she edits papers really well!

You've probably just been wise enough not to leave a space big enough on the table in front of your monitor for her to stand and sit and lick herself, then. Otherwise whenever she needed your attention she would know exactly where to go.

Well, that's easy. The parts she can't reach, she can always lick her front paw and rub that across them.

Sadly, I think my roommate would have come into my room proud that he was makeing it smell bad.
