I haven't chatted with anyone. That's because I don't do chat or AIM. I'm an AOL user who shut off my IM capacity a long time ago - I just don't like it as a way of communicating.
Things look good, though, for real face-to-face interaction with a bunch of Hatrakers in August.

Oops. Sorry, AJ. If it helps, I think your 11:30 bedtime sucks, since it translates to 8:30 my time, and I'm almost never on before 9.

I’m with sndrake on this one. I don’t like chat as a mode of communication. Forums, e-mail, phone calls = good. Chat = extremely uncomfortable. Even with people I know well. I’ve tried it a few times, and I just don’t like it. Posts: 9866 | Registered: Apr 2002

I've never chatted with anybody here--my work blocks all IM clients, and I'm virtually never online when I'm at home.
If I were to pick a single Hatracker with whom to IM, though, it would be CT. If I were picking two...well...I'm not sure. Celia, katharina, Anne Kate, sndrake, saxon75, Kama and Jonboy all leap to mind. It would probably depend entirely on what kind of mood I was in.
I really wish I were able to go to Kamacon--then I could finally meet a lot of the people I think of as friends for the first time.

Teleperion the fact you don't have your IM in your profile might have something to do with your lack of IMs, you certainly haven't IMd me and mine is public...

I have too much of the good thing. If I get all cranked up on smack, then I'll drop the pounds like crazy and end up having those long, spindley limbs, possibly a discernable jawline and still maintain the bits that God gave me.
Now I have to figure out a way to grow six inches, and I'm in like Flynn.

My Hatrack heroes are katherine Farmgirl mr_porteiro_head rivka and A Rat Named Dog, just to name a few. I've never chatted with them. I just like lurking in the shadows and reading their posts.

confession: I have a hard time remembering hatrackers. I have a *very* visual learning style, and without anything but a name, it is hard for me to remember who is who.
On a related note, the other day, my wife mentioned a post that Jeff made. I tried to remember some hatracker named Jeff, and couldn't. Then she said "You know -- Dog". Oh, she meant Geoff, not Jeff. I only *see* Geoff's name that I didn't recognize it when she said it out loud.
