I'm getting ready to quit smoking and I've been told by many folks that this worked for them. So, now I'm looking at the prescription and wondering, what should I have to worry about here?
I understand this was developed as an anti-depressant and only worked so-so, but it had the remarkable affect of making people quit smoking.
That's well and good, but do I have to worry about any side effects? I'm not prone to depression and pretty upbeat most times. Will I become a bit manic on this?

Yay for quitting! I don't have any info. on the medications, but I'm in the process of quitting myself. So far I'm down from a pack a day to about 5-6.

Susie did the Welbutrin thing. Her side effects included tremors, slight dizzyness, inability to concentrate during the first month of taking it. Those faded after the first month. Your mileage may vary. If you do not have a seizure disorder then it shouldn't be a big problem. I couldn't take it because of my issues.
