FC, how's Genius Loves Company? I got the Ray! soundtrack (I'd asked for it, Ray Charles was notably absent from my record collection) and I love it.

Which one? I've seen three of them and there all took my breath away (true I'm a theatre bum born and bread, but that just says more to how amazing they are)

She didn't know that the eye design is on only one eye, but it's easily fixed. It's so cool! Now if I can only find a Barbie-sized top hat...

I got a beautiful blue stone spoon rest from my son. Eight pretty white bowls from my mother and some soup mixes to go with. My dad gave me a food chopper and Apples to Apples.
And my husband spoiled me rotten. He gave me an all day treatment at one of the most exclusive spas in town. It's something I really wanted, had never voiced a desire for because it is ridiculously expensive and that makes it all the more dear that he got it not knowing how much I'd really wanted it. I was totally, totally surprised. And then he had two other gifts...diamond chip earrings and pearl earrings. I'm going to get my ears peirced tomorrow.
Better than any gifts was the laidback weekend and the time with my family. It's been one of the best Christmases ever for that....we didn't make a big dinner -- I thawed some steaks, we baked some potatoes. I bought the bread from Great Harvest. It took 45 minutes to make a great dinner and less than that to clean it up. I like to cook when I have the energy, but this holiday we have all been sick for weeks, and it was so nice to just relax, watch some tv, play with the kids and their new toys. It was a great weekend.

Lime -- We saw parts of "There and Back Again" on tv, but really want to see the whole thing *rubs greedy hands together* Perhaps we could borrow it?
jeniwren -- How blissful! Tom got me a bunch of spa products this year and promised my sister and I that when we could find a weekend we were both free, he'd pay for a spa visit for the two of us.

Christy - Teres got a Captain Jack Sparrow doll, a Pirates of the Caribbean wall sculpture (of the logo image, with two metal swords stuck behind a headband-wrapped skull), a tiny crystal chandelier with a lilac-scented candle in it, fuzzy coloring posters, a Buffy the Vampire Slayer Xbox game to go along with Jamie's new Xbox, and probably more I'm forgetting. And more I'm not mentioning on purpose.

A crock pot A tea kettle A handmade hat and scarf (from my baby sister) A puzzle Three pairs of funny socks Some yummy smelling lotion A very nice day with my family... it's been a while
Edit: I forgot the books: Wicked, The Princess Diaries, The Scarlet Pimpernel (and the movie) and a book of quilting patterns
I had a lovely Christmas, we tried to cut way back on spending, were moderately successful (we did stay under budged, but I'd hoped to spend half of our Christmas bonus money and instead we spent about 2/3 of it.)
At any rate, my husband gave me a lovely watch, I had mentioned that I needed to start wearing one again before I started school and was going to drag out my old one and get the battery replaced - but this one is much nicer.
My father and stepmother gave me the Two Towers X-box game and some very nice opal and diamond earrings.
My mother gave my husband and I a joint gift of a new gas grill.
My oldest daughter gave me a charm bracelet, with a book and pencil charms. ('cause I'm a writer, get it?)
I also got an Ebay gift certificate and Target gift cards. With the Ebay one I bought myself a small butane torch for soldering for jewelry construction and repair, and a pair of topaz earrings.
Haven't used the Target ones yet, it'll probably be used to buy cat litter, I just realized I need to change the box today and I'm out.

sndrake, I got a migraine as a Boxing Day present. Thank heavens I made it to today. I'm glad you're better too.
Bob!! My very coolest present was music related (like your piano lessons) from my parents. They got me a flute!!!!!!
A flute! Last year for my music ed degree I had to take these classes where I learned just enough about all the instruments that I could teach beginning band if I had to. I had to learn how to play them and all the fingerings etc. My favorite was the flute and I actually got quite good at it (for a beginner!). It's one of those things that I started saying to myself "when I get money, I'll buy one."
But my cute parents got one for me and they were so pleased at my shock. Awesome!!
I also got
Napolean Dynomite on DVD Several other sundry old movie DVDs Some lovely books (including a Dumas, a Wilde, and a Bronte. Yay for people that look at my bookshelves to see what I don't have!!) a cool ring from my sister a nifty homemade scarf from my SIL a pretty cream colored sweater
Yeah, great Christmas. I had a good time watching other people open stuff because I was in on everyone else's gifts. We have several copies of the ROTK EE floatin around and I just have to get the time to sit down and watch it!
One of the coolest gifts was given to my brother...the first 100 Strongbad emails on DVD. We sat down on Christmas day and watched all of them. What a good time!!

Oh, and I can't forget my gifts from fellow hatrackers.
Mark (raventh1) got me my Yo-yo Ma/Mcferrin CD. (He was my secret santa.) I laugh hysterically at it in my car with any of my siblings that happen to be driving with me. "Give me my note. Thank you, I appreciate that."
I also got a copy of The Pilgrim's Progress from digging_holes. *hugs* There's a story that goes along with that too and when I opened it, I laughed good and hard.

My husband got vodka and power tools. This will end poorly.
As for myself, I got all three LotR movies (extended editions, yaay!), a couple of books, a new shoulder bag, a top I really like, yarn and yarn-related items, a TON of chocolate, some cash, and a few gift cards for various retail establishments. I am a happy camper indeed But mostly I'm happy that I got all the shopping, gift-making, and wrapping done in time, everybody liked what I gave them, and the whole holiday just generally went very well.
